The One Billion Youth Community Fund.
Our goal is simple: we want to remove financial barriers so more young people can access activities that build confidence, skills, and long-term opportunity.
WHO IS THIS FOR?
The One Billion Youth Community Fund is a targeted support fund that helps parents cover the cost of their children’s extracurricular activities for Term 1 2026.
This fund is community first and is all about investing early, and recognising that learning doesn’t just happen in classrooms. By supporting access to extracurriculars, we’re helping young people build life skills that compound well beyond school.
What the Fund Covers
The fund can be used to support costs related to extracurricular participation, including (but not limited to):
Sports fees and equipment
Music, arts, or cultural programmes
Clubs, lessons, or structured after-school activities
Funding is focused on Term 1 to ensure kids can start the year engaged, confident, and supported.

Why This Matters
Extracurricular activities play a critical role in youth development. Beyond academics, they help young people build:
Confidence and self-belief
Teamwork and communication skills
Discipline, resilience, and leadership
A sense of belonging and purpose
For many families, especially those facing financial pressure, these opportunities are often the first to be cut - despite being some of the most impactful for long-term outcomes.
